Jim Hart, 74 of Tinley Park, formerly of Chicago’s West Lawn neighborhood passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon April 11th at home with his family at his side. Veteran U.S. Air Force. Beloved husband of Josephine nee Russo for over 50 years. Dearest father of Jim (Joanna) and Christie Jo (Carlos) Perez. Loving Papa of Jack, Madison, James, Dominic, and Amelia Jo. Dear brother of Arlene (The Late Tom) Russell. Faithful companion of Brusier. Jim was a proud veteran of The United States Air Force and Employee of the CTA, Teamster locals 710 & 726.  He was a long time member/supporter and past officer of the South Suburban A.B.A.T.E., and a Teacher/Instructor for Motorcycle Safety. Visitation Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maher Funeral Home, 17101 S. 71st Avenue Tinley Park, Illinois 60477. Funeral 10:00 AM Monday morning at the Funeral home to St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Catholic Church 17500 S. 84th Ave, Tinley Park for 11:30am Mass.
