ANTONUCCI, ALBERT J.

Albert J. Antonucci, 85, (Veteran U.S. Army) late of Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood, passed away December 26, 2020, after a lengthy illness. Cherished husband of the late Tessie Antonucci (nee Gjerko). Devoted father of George (Shannon), Laroy (Debbie) and Nick (Christine). Preceded in death by his siblings Angelo (Sharon), John and Joe (Shirley). Dearest grandfather of numerous grandchildren. Dearest great-grandfather of many great-grandchildren. Fond uncle of Michael. He had a strong work ethic and began his own vending business (Mid City Vending) serving the Chicago area. He was devoted to his Catholic faith, and was an active parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Chicago. As a proud patriotic American, he never lost touch with his love for America and the Army in which he served.
Visitation Sunday, January 3rd, from 3-8 pm at the Maher Funeral Home, 17101 71st Ave. Tinley Park, IL. Funeral service Monday, January 4th 10:00am at the funeral home, to Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. Eric A. Hoffmann, Funeral Director. In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church. Current CDC Covid restrictions apply for the upcoming visitation and funeral service. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Entombment Queen of Heaven Mausoleum Cemetery, Hillside Illinois. 708 781 9212
