Delores (Nee Willis) Nicholson

Mrs. Delores A. Nicholson, 91, late of Tinley Park, formerly of Chicago. Cherished daughter of the late George and Magdalena (nee Nosbaum). Beloved wife of the late Anthony "Tony" Nicholson.   Devoted mother of Linda, the late Karen and Wendy.  Preceded in death by her beloved siblings; Sr. Mary Hilda, George, Evelyn, Lester, Violet, Howard, Laverne, Harold, Donald and Shirley.  Dearest grandmother of: Kandy, the late Lesa, Jason, Michael, Christina, Sandra, Mindy, Corine, Georgia, Laura, Thomas and Jacquelyn.  Dearest great-grandmother of; Milan, Dylan, Fiona, Ryan, Connor, Bria, Lily, Drew, Jack, Teaghan, Damian, Raelynn, Brooke, Kayleigh, Mario III, Gabriel and Iris. Great-great-grandmother of Jetta.  Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Delores loved her Bingo games, her sweet treats, reading the Chicago Tribune faithfully, and "chasing" radio stations such as WBBM Newsradio 780.  She had a love for wild birds, and dutifully fed them along with backyard rabbits, in all weather rain or shine.  She adored dogs of all breeds, and was a faithful devotee of "Family Feud" hosted by Steve Harvey.  Visitation Saturday, June 25th, 9-11:30, with a funeral service at 11:00am, Pastor Richard Zekveld officiating. Processing to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery for a 12:45 interment.
