Mom and Dad met in 1943 and married after Dad served in WW II. They enjoyed 72 years of marriage until Dad’s untimely death in 2020. Longtime members of St Barnabas in Beverly and St Julie’s in Tinley Park. She was a member of CFM and CHRP both resulting in lifelong friendships. Together they experienced traveling, winters as snowbirds, and playing a lot of dominoes!
Our Mom will be remembered for her love of the Lord, her great Faith, as a prayer warrior for all and her strong friendships. Her love of travel took her from Vegas to Rome with friends and family She was one of the founding members of her neighborhood Bible study which spanned more than 40 years. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society. Mom loved entertaining friends and family; her yearly Christmas celebration was a favorite.
Mom lived her life doing “what Love requires”. Her frequent response to life’s challenges and celebrations was “Praise the Lord!”
