Elena Rivera, 98, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her
family on February 27, 2022.

Luisa (late), Monín, Andres (late) and Julita.

Elena was born and raised in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She later moved to Chicago where
she lived with her loving daughter Flor. Elena was a hard-working farmer and a very
creative person who enjoyed music, singing, storytelling, embroidery, making flowers
and other forms of art. But overall she will be fondly remembered for being a loving,
sweet, caring matriarch.
