Robert J. Gill, age 73.

Veteran U.S. Army. Retired CFD and Third Degree Knight Father Perez Council Mt. Greenwood.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Jane Gill (nee Healy).

Loving father of Tom (Meghan) Gill, Brendan (Amanda) Gill, Daniel (Mary) Gill, Ann (Bulmaro) Rodriguez and Kathleen (Jerry) Kirby.

Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Conor, Thomas "Tuck", Brendan, Declan, Maeve, Liam, Ella, Luken, Hagen, Jane and soon to be another Kirby, Isabella and Elena.

Dear brother of the late John Gill.

Fond uncle to many. Diane Higgins, last love of his life.

In accordance with the state of Illinois Public Health Guidelines, visitors will only be admitted in and out privileges as not to exceed the safe number set forth at the time of service and social distancing practices. The Gill family would like thank you for your understanding and greatly appreciate your prayers and gestures of sympathy during this most difficult time. Most importantly they wish for you and your loved ones to be safe

Visitation Wednesday 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00pm at the Maher Funeral Home 17101 S. 71st Ave Tinley Park (1 block east of Harlem on 171st located in the Olde Tinley Library).

Interment with Military Honors St. Mary Cemetery.

We encourage friend's and neighbor's to gather Wednesday along the procession route to the Cemetery on 111th St. from Homan Ave to Central Park Ave at approximately 1:45pm to show Mr. Gill a warm Mt. Greenwood goodbye.   (708) 781-9212.
