Rosemarie Nolan Obituary

Rosemarie Nolan, age 64, passed away early in the morning of April 5, 2024. Rose was born on March 25, 1960 in Chicago, IL to Martin and Marie Nolan. Rosemarie grew up on the 4800 south block of Winchester Ave in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Thomas Kelly High School in 1978. After high school she worked her way from a pharmacy technician to a leading sales rep for Major Pharmaceuticals through the 1990’s. Rosemarie’s greatest love was her son Martin and her grandsons Cormac and Oliver. As a single mom, Rose dedicated her life to raising her son. Rose’s second love was live music and going to concerts. Rose attended over a hundred concerts in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, which included seeing Rod Stewart and Aerosmith dozens of times.

Rosemarie was the devoted mother of Martin Nolan (Kathryn). Loving sister of Charles Nolan (Christine). Dearest grandmother of Cormac and Oliver Nolan. Fond niece of Elmer and Carmella Thompson and Wayne and Patricia Thompson. Fond cousin of Dan Thompson (Robin), Marie Thompson, Patricia Wozniak (Paul), Tim Thompson, Art Thompson, Billy Thompson, Brian Thompson, Wayne Thompson, Diane Thompson, Cathy O’Shea (Tim), and the late Carmella Eldridge (Robert). Close friend of Robert Murray, Harriet Smith, Donna Skwarek, Theresa Rosario, Chris Giglotto, Colleen Giglotto, and many more beloved family members and friends.

Memorial visitation Wednesday, April 17th, 3-8pm, with a funeral service at 6pm by Pastor Jamie Deuser.  Interment private.
