Samuel D. Duran, 41, late of Alsip. Beloved son of Lucio and Maria (nee Zamarron) Duran. Loving brother of Damaris Lopez and Denise (Enrique) Zamora. Dearest grandson of Domitila Zamarron Reyes. Fond uncle of William Zamora, Angelina Zamora, Samuel Lopez, Daniela Lopez and Enrique Zamora. Samuel was a very happy and humble man with a contagious laugh. His friends could always depend on his trustworthiness and unselfish nature. He counted being a dependable friend to others before his own comfort and convenience, and he instilled the importance of that trait on his nieces and nephews. He had true talent for artistry, and many of his works were on display at various art shops. He was quoted as saying" I've lived my life more than people twice my age." He had a love for Cadillacs, travel, and was meticulous in not only his appearance but the example he set for others. Visitation Friday, February 25th, from 3-8 pm.
