William F. "Bill" Heilman Obituary

William F. Heilman “Bill” 81 of Oak Forest passed away peacefully Sunday evening November 1st with his family at his side. Beloved and devoted Husband of Mary Kay (nee Hayde) for 50 years. Loving Dad of Mark (Liz) Heilman and Dan (Chrissy) Heilman. Dearest Papa of Owen and Drew. Dearest Son of the late Frank and Louise Heilman and Brother of the late Robert (Angela) Heilman. Dear Brother–in-law of Meg Hayde and fond Uncle and Cousin to many.

Bill was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago and spent his time enjoying family, his surroundings and helping those in need. He was a skilled Industrial Engineer who was dedicated to detail and loved the various career paths that he encountered. In retirement, Bill took on several leadership roles in the St Vincent DePaul Society to give back to the community. Time spent during Birthdays, holidays, and with the Grandkids brought him tremendous joy and we were all blessed to have been a part of it with him.
