Brett was genuinely a cool kid I looked back today yet again wondering what could have been done. He was so bright and happy and always was a good time, I used to see him walking around the neighborhood a lot and I think maybe if I would have just stopped once or twice and not been a stranger that things might be different. I don’t know, just a thought. I used to see him around 2014 a lot, we hung with crowds that would merge on weekends at bulldogs and hangout. I pray he is at peace and I hope the family is doing ok as well. He is not forgotten. Rest in peace Brett.

I grew up with Brett and his family during some of the most formative years of my life, and to this day I still consider them family. Brett was like a younger brother I never knew I had, and he was always wanting to try new things and explore new concepts that left me in awe of his enthusiasm. I'll miss him dearly.
My deepest condolences and warmest prayers to Bradley, Brianna, Brooke, and Mrs. Lauer. I love you all.

Brett,
You were a pleasure to have in class. Our conversations about literature always left me amazed because of your intellect and maturity at such a young age. You were a respectful, caring, young man with a contagious smile that will be missed. Rest In Peace, Brett.

With heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death.
