My cousin Ellis Conley Dean who I was very close to while growing up Chesapeake W.Va.

When I move away from Chesapeake, I never saw Ellis again until I attended Aunt Cindy's funeral, some Thirty-Eight years later, at that time I wanted very much to spend some time talking with him, although we had brief conversations, I would like to had had a long talk with him, unfortunately that never happened.

Even through the years of separation, I always had thoughts of Ellis, always wondered how he was doing. I would in prayers think of him.

I have really fond memories of Ellis; he took me to get my driver's license, cut my hair, lent me his car, and if he had money I had money. I remember him telling me not watch TV shows that depicted people acting like complete idiots, it was like, "you don't want to act like that." Ellis deep down inside really cared for his family, he was always ready to defend a family member against any perpetrator.

So I pray that God will bless his soul, because he may be gone in one way, but in my heart and mind he will always be a part of me until the end of time.

Uncle Ellis, No more sorrow, no more pain, and now resting in heaven with Our Heavenly Father. Healed, whole, and lovingly joined once again with your Momma (Ella C. Dean) & Father (John Dean). From my first memory of you as a young girl in WV being carried on your back in the front yard playing in Chesapeake, to the last time I saw you, and now this moment I can only say I love/miss you Uncle Ellis. Be at peace, for you did well in life and will be missed truly...
Sincerely your Niece Stephanie,

I shall cherish the memories of our growing up, especially when my family would visit our grandparents in WV. It was a joy to see my Dean cousins. No more pain, you're at rest.
May your family trust God for their every need. Your cousins in Ohio shall never forget you Ellis. Love cousins Belinda, Alicia & Izsadora.
