I'm very sorry about the loss of your loved one. Remember the Bible's promise at Isaiah 25:8. May Jehovah comfort you during this difficult time.

I called Joe this afternoon around 2:30 to offer him a piece of carrot cake. Thought he was taking a nap, as he often did in the afternoon and I would catch him later.
We were deeply saddened to see the ambulance leave without him.
Joe and I shared recipes and desserts across the fence. My dutch apple pie was his favorite. I'm a huge fan of his peanut brittle. His garden fed many of his neighbors. Never had to buy a cucumber in season and the peppers were delicious.
If you needed a hand, Joe would help. He would loan his tools, and his assistance if you had no idea what you were doing. Need a ride?, ask Joe. Water your garden while on vacation, no problem. Look in the dictionary for the definition of "good neighbor " and you'll find Joe's picture.
As nuch as we will miss Joe, your loss is greater. How lucky you were to have him as your father, father-in-law, grandfather and friend. He loved his family dearly and was so proud of all of you.
Our deepest sympathies.
