Mary and Marty,
So very sorry to hear of the loss of your son, Robert. We have not seen each other for many years, but I think of you and your family often. My son, Beau, told us the other day, and it saddens my heart so much. From what I have read here he was a wonderful, caring young man and will be sorely missed by many. He will stay with you in spirit, tho, and love goes on forever. Laura and Jim Proudfoot

So very sorry to read of the tragic accident .
I wish to share comfort from the Bible at this sad time.
The Bible teaches that one day in the near future our Creator, Jehovah God, by means of the ransom sacrifice of his son, Jesus, will reunite us with our dead loved ones by means of a resurrection right here on earth in paradise conditions that will be filled with peace, happiness, and perfect health for everyone. (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:9-11,29; Isaiah 33:24)
As you read the above texts from your Bible, may the wonderful hope they give us, along with loving memories bring you a measure of comfort during this most difficult time.

To the Mikolajewski Family,
Robert was an amazing student who embodied the spirit of nursing. He made a special impact on each patient he encountered by so effortlessly making each patient feel as though they were the most important person at that moment. I will forever remember him as an exceptional nurse with an infectious smile. My prayers are with your family for strength and guidance during this difficult time.

To the Walsh Mikolajewski family,
Robert was a wonderful young man. We had several clinical rotations together at DePaul University. Robert always had something to joke about. In the mist of the storm he made you laugh or shake your head. His smile will be greatly missed. Praying for your family and strength.

Robert, my prayers are with your family and I am so very sad to have lost such a wonderful Cubs Fan friend and former student. The world will be short one fantastic nurse as I know you just finished your Master's. Your parents have always been so proud of all you've accomplished as am I. You'll now have the best seat in Wrigley, right above. Rest In Peace Robert.
